THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON ACQUIRES RUTSTEIN PAINTING

Rebecca Rutstein, Salish Sea Series IX, 60×60″ painting purchased by the University of Washington

The University of Washington purchased Salish Sea Series IX to be on permanent display in the School of Oceanography. The acquisition recognizes Rutstein’s ongoing collaboration with the Ocean Memory Project and UW Professor Jody Deming, including an expedition off the coast of Washington on UW’s R/V Rachel Carson in 2019.
